@fettuccinae:matrix.org: So this ticket refers to two things:
1. LB does a best-effort automatic matching of each listen to a MusicBrainz recording, and sometimes gets it wrong (docs: https://listenbrainz.readthedocs.io/en/latest/developers/mapping.html)
2. Users have a way to manually link a listen to an MB recording (for example on this page https://listenbrainz.org/settings/link-listens/, but also available as a menu item for each listen)

With that in mind, my understanding of the ticket is that the user would like a way to say "this is a wrong automatic match, please leave it unmatched" which is different from "I know which recording this should be, let me link it".

We don't currently know how we want to deal with that situation, how we want to store this data or what to do with it afterwards, so this ticket will be suspended for the time being until we have ahd time to work on the mapper some more.

So sorry for the lost time, but please choose another ticket :)
